these nativity scenes are made from plant-dyed wool.

the wool is wrapped around itself – not needle-felted.

 only small details and the hair will be lightly needle-felted onto the dolls.

this gives them a very soft look.

all materials will be included in the workshop

this is the beautiful plant-dyed wool

we will be using:

my mum spends hours

dyeing and over-dyeing the wool

with plant materials.

she has an amazing skill at creating

a large variety of beautiful harmonious colours.

the two workshops will be

for five participants each only

to ensure that you will get

all the attention you need to create

a beautiful, natural display to be brought out and enjoyed year after year.

      I will keep that in mind for next year.
      I have taught online workshops before and it is a lot of work to do all the tutorials – so definitely not before this Christmas.
